Give unto the Holy Spirit what belongs to the Holy Spirit ! ! !

Hello my fellow lights of the world,

Welcome to todays episode of my blog. An Exclusive episode of the Children of Light Blog😂😂. Don't mind me. I couldn't find a convenient or suitable intro for todays post. Please just take it as it is. If this was a podcast, it would have made more sense. Maybe I should start a podcast. If you think I should, please say so in the comments. Anyways, lets get into todays talk.

Title seems confusing, right? I know. But it's not really that confusing. I always say that the guidance of the Holy Spirit can never be overemphasised in everything and every area of our lives. The fact that he's a spirit, is probably why a lot of us tend to overlook his presence. It's like Air. Until your nose is blocked, you don't realise how important it is to be able to breath. Until the Air is polluted, you never realise how important it is to be able to breathe cool and clean air. The Holy Spirit is as important to Human beings as air is to every living creature.

The Holy Spirit, because he's a spirit, he's everywhere just as air is. He's with everyone at the same time. He speaks to us even when we're not listening or attentive to him. He's watching and sees everything and everyone. He's like an open line waiting for us to connect to him. That's all! If you don't connect, you wouldn't hear him. What's worse is that some of us know he's there, we hear him speak but we don't acknowledge his presence or his words.

Now, I know he's a spirit but I mean if it were you, who's human, whose words were unacknowledged, you wouldn't be happy. We all know that in this time and age, copyright is a thing of pride that everyone fights for. Our names must be attached to everything that comes from us. Be it our words or works or any products of our hands. We want everyone to know that "It was I who said it". Especially when it shows signs of becoming a trend or even the slightest bit famous. So if we respond like this, how much more the Holy Spirit.

You know that instance, when something happens and you say "Ah, and something was telling me ooh". It wasn't "something" that told you. It was the Holy Spirit. So yeah, the point of this post for the week, is to charge you to acknowledge the Holy Spirit. When I got this revelation, I had to make conscious efforts. Every time I was speaking and I found myself making that statement, "something told me", I immediately correct myself, "the Holy Spirit told me". Because in reality he's the one speaking. Always prompting and dropping things in our hearts. From ideas, inspirations to decisions made. It's all his doing. Please I indulge you reading this, hype the Holy Spirit. Let him be happy that he gave you those groundbreaking ideas, or those lifechanging decisions you made, that it was his doing. Let the world know that thing or reason for being celebrated is the doing of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit does a lot of things for us and because he's a spirit, there's nothing you can do physically to show gratitude or appreciation, than to acknowledge his works. The only thing he eats is your worship to him. I'm not talking about testimony or praise & worship or offering time in church. When you open your mouth to tell people, let them know that it is the work of the Holy Spirit and not just a thought that popped in your head or a "something" that told you. Even in your space or in your head, when he prompts you, acknowledge him at that moment. A simple "Thank you Holy Spirit" will suffice. Be proud of him and his works and he'll do even more and greater.

Remember that you are LIGHT and you must SHINE ! ! !

Cheers
